In view of these advantages my Directors consider that the time has come when the Company should receive sufficient encouragement from the Government, both political and commercial, and if His Excellency the Governor is of the same opinion, I am instructed to say what would be the probable result of such action in this matter.
My Directors are of opinion that the Government should take a favourable view of the proposal for the continuance of an annual subsidy by this Company.
